Why use social media for marketing?

Want new customers? Or maybe influence your existing customers to buy more? Do you sell a product or service that you want to showcase? Or are you selling B2B and want more leads? Then it’s marketing across the various existing social media channels that we recommend you utilize.

We work with social media, where we handle all of our customers’ marketing on their SOME pages, including page posts, campaigns, competitions, events and visual setup. We set up profiles on all social media platforms and create Facebook Business Manager, Ad Account, Instagram account and more.

We market through campaigns and paid advertising, and manage posts on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube and Tiktok.

Facebook marketing

Facebook is the most used social media in the UK, so your target audience is definitely present on the medium. Here you can set up data-based audiences that are highly effective at both influencing your current customers and targeting new potential customers.

Our goal is to maximize the return we generate from every single ad dollar in your budget. This can be anything from generating conversions and revenue for an online shop, leads for a B2B company, or generally increasing brand awareness and publicity. We start by analyzing your current situation, then collect data that we can use to create data-based target groups such as lookalike audiences to streamline the process.

Instagram marketing

For example, are you selling a product or service that you want to showcase? For a slightly younger target group, Instagram is an obvious marketing channel for your business. Instagram is one of the biggest social media platforms in the UK and around the world. It’s very much a more visual medium, so if you want to showcase your products or services, it’s a great channel.

Instagram is owned by Facebook, so we have the same great opportunities to set up ads, create data-based audiences. This makes it easy for us to merge marketing on these two channels, as you set up Instagram campaigns in the same ad manager as Facebook, so it’s obvious to use and test both channels at the same time.

LinkedIn marketing

Is your target audience B2B sales and do you want more leads? Want to target ads to decision makers? Then LinkedIn might be a more effective choice of advertising platform. LinkedIn is the largest social media site in the world for business professionals. If you’re a B2B company, there are great opportunities to reach your potential customers with advertising on LinkedIn.

The biggest advantage of advertising on LinkedIn is that you can target specific job titles and specific companies.

We always start by identifying the target audience, then see if we can target them using the segmentation options available on LinkedIn.

Once we have found the right target audience, we build a campaign setup where we first create awareness and then try to convert the decision-makers to fill out a lead ad.

X marketing (formerly twitter)

X is also an interesting place to advertise, as it is a flow medium and what is called a “micro blog” where you can connect with your customers and potential customers in just 140 characters.

All updates appear in a constant flow on the Twitter user’s page, which places demands on you as a business. It’s 140 characters that matter when communicating with your customers, so it’s important that what you write is short and to the point for your target audience.

There are two ways to market on X: You can have your profile highlighted or you can have your “tweets” highlighted; for example, if you choose to have your profile highlighted, Twitter looks at who follows you and based on their interests, X tries to find other users with similar interests. We also have a say in what interests the target group should have, so here, too, we have the opportunity to create data-based target groups. When X finds a match, the platform will make sure that you are recommended in the “Who to follow” section. This way, you increase your chances of getting more people to follow you, which in turn increases your chances of more people spreading your message, more leads and ultimately more sales and revenue.

If, on the other hand, you want your tweets to be highlighted, X monitors your activity and engagement with other content around your tweets and ensures that the most popular of your tweets are promoted. This form of marketing differs from the traditional way as it doesn’t require you to come up with something new to market, but instead just tweet as usual. Once X has figured out which tweets are the most popular, X makes sure they appear in the newsfeed of the right people – those who are interested in your company and its products.

Marketing on X is done on a “pay per click” basis, meaning you don’t have to pay out of pocket every time you appear in search results. You only pay when someone either chooses to follow your featured profile, a link in your tweet or when someone chooses to retweet a featured tweet. Of this, you can control how much you want to spend per day.

Tik Tok marketing

Then there’s the brand new visual quirky media, Tiktok, where we also offer advertising.

Tiktok Advertising is divided into 4 branches: In-feed native content, brand takeovers, hashtag challenges and branded lenses.

IN-FEED NATIVE CONTENT
This ad type draws parallels to Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram Story ads. Just like regular TikTok videos, they should be between 9 and 15 seconds long. They play in full screen and can be skipped by the users viewing them.

BRAND TAKEOVERS
Then there are BRAND TAKEOVERS, which work by showing up in the different categories in TikTok via a static, animated or video ad.

HASHTAG CHALLENGES
Then there are HASHTAG CHALLENGES, where you can create sponsored hashtag challenges that are expressed in unique banners in the app. They can encourage users to participate in challenges like the ones that are very familiar on most social media platforms today. The banners lead users to a challenge page that contains instructions for the challenge as well as existing videos with the challenge hashtag. This ad feature provides ample opportunity to utilize the creativity that is the alpha and omega of TikTok as a platform and the crucial factor for a successful ad.

BRANDED LENSES
And last but not least, BRANDED LENSES, this ad type works by creating filters/AR effects that users can use in their videos for a limited period of time.

Youtube marketing

It’s highly beneficial for your business to incorporate videos into your content strategy and for these videos to be added to YouTube for marketing purposes. Many people watch YouTube videos on a daily basis and there are many channels filled with video content. YouTube offers a valuable network of video content that people find useful, not just for entertainment, but for news, video help, online learning, product reviews and opinions, comedy, music videos and much more.

YouTube is a platform that is growing by leaps and bounds. Since March 2014, the number of daily users has increased by over 40% and billions of plays are generated daily. YouTube is therefore a natural choice and an extremely important place for your business to be represented when you want to be visible online.
